How integrating cycling as an access and egress mode reshapes the design of a public transport network.

As a postdoctoral researcher on ETH Zürich's E-Bike City project, I studied multi-scale, responsive public transport planning for bi-modal demand — quantifying how treating the bicycle as a first-class access and egress mode changes optimal network design, using a Zürich subnetwork as the testbed.
