E-Bike City

Multi-scale, responsive public transport planning for bi-modal demand, and the impact of bike integration as an access/egress mode on transit network design.

As a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zürich's Institute for Transport Planning and Systems, I developed a two-stage stochastic mixed-integer programming model that accounts for demand fluctuations arising from widespread cycling, using the City of Zürich as a case study, and evaluated how integrating the bicycle as an access and egress mode reshapes transit network design across a Zürich subnetwork.
